Terms of Use
Last updated: August 18, 2026
Rhino Banana is a proprietary Rhino 3D plugin and companion web service that helps you generate and upscale images via third-party providers (currently “Nano Banana” / Google Gemini and OpenAI Image 2 / OpenAI API image models for generation, and Claid for upscaling, with more providers likely to be added over time). These terms explain how the service works, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you.
For how we process personal data and your GDPR rights, see our Privacy & GDPR Policy. For a plain-language overview, see Data Handling.
1. Your agreement
By accessing or using Rhino Banana (the plugin, the web app, or any related services), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Rhino Banana.
2. The plugin is proprietary
Rhino Banana is proprietary software. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it as intended. You may not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the plugin unless we give you explicit written permission.
3. Your content and outputs
You are responsible for the content you submit (for example, images, prompts, scene data, or other inputs) and for how you use the results.
As far as we are concerned, the renders and other material you generate using Rhino Banana are free for you to use (including commercial use). Rhino Banana does not claim ownership over your outputs.
However, we cannot grant you rights we do not have. Your ability to use inputs and outputs may still be limited by third-party rights (for example, copyright, trademarks, confidentiality) and by the terms of any third-party provider used to generate the output.
4. Third-party providers (Nano Banana, OpenAI, Claid, and others)
Rhino Banana relies on third-party providers to process requests. At the time of writing, Rhino Banana uses “Nano Banana” / Google Gemini and OpenAI Image 2 / OpenAI API image models for image generation and editing, and Claid for image upscaling. We may add, remove, or change providers over time.
When you render, Rhino Banana sends the data needed to complete the request to the selected provider. That provider processes data under its own terms and policies. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with those third-party terms.
To improve delivery reliability, Rhino Banana may temporarily store generated or upscaled images in secure cloud storage and return them through short-lived download links. These temporary image files are automatically deleted after a short period. See the Privacy & GDPR Policy for current retention details.
Relevant third-party legal pages include: Google Gemini API Terms, OpenAI Services Agreement, OpenAI Service Terms, Claid Terms & Conditions, and Claid Privacy Policy.
We are not affiliated with third-party providers unless explicitly stated. We do not control their services, and we are not responsible for their availability, policies, or actions.
5. Diagnostics, error reports, and improving the product
To keep Rhino Banana reliable and improve it over time, the plugin and services may collect and store diagnostic information when something goes wrong (for example: error messages, stack traces, request IDs, timestamps, and basic environment/app version details).
These error reports are used for debugging, support, abuse prevention, and product improvement. Depending on the error, diagnostic data may include limited parts of the data involved in the request.
6. Contact regarding errors
If we see an error that needs clarification, we may contact you using the email address associated with your Rhino Banana account to ask for additional details (for example, steps to reproduce the issue). You can always reply and ask us to stop contacting you about diagnostics.
7. Referral rewards
Referral rewards are available only to genuinely new accounts. Existing accounts, restored accounts, self-referrals, expired invitations, and phone numbers that already received a referral reward are not eligible.
To receive the reward, the invited user must create the new account within the attribution period and verify email and phone ownership. Ordinary signup does not require a phone number. The referrer does not need to provide a phone number.
The displayed reward amounts and referral limit apply when a claim is captured or reserved. Rewards have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may be corrected if a technical error creates duplicate credits.
Self-referral, fabricated accounts, or other manipulation of referral eligibility is prohibited.
We may pause or end the referral program, change future reward amounts or limits, or apply an emergency stop. A normal pause allows already captured eligible claims to finish; an emergency stop may temporarily prevent all referral completion.
Phone and referral data processing is described in the Privacy & GDPR Policy.
8. Credits and account deletion
Each account history is eligible for one starter-credit allocation. Deleting an account and signing up again with the same email does not create a new starter-credit entitlement.
When you delete your account, Rhino Banana retains your remaining credit balance and redeemed credit-code identifiers against a keyed fingerprint of your email. If you later sign up with the same email, the remaining credit balance is restored and previously redeemed codes remain unavailable; you do not receive another starter-credit allocation.
Account deletion is normally completed within 48 hours. Limited payment records and the credit-restoration record may be retained as described in the Privacy & GDPR Policy.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page. Your continued use of Rhino Banana after an update means you accept the updated terms.
